GST for Australian Customers
Because Wormly Pty Ltd is an Australian company, GST applies to the service we provide to you if you are also an Australian entity.
When you first activate your Wormly account, your credit card is charged for a prepayment voucher equal to the value of your monthly plan plus GST.
This is not a tax invoice, because no taxable supply has been provided at this point.
Wormly will issue you with a tax invoice on the 1st day of each calendar month, which details the taxable supply provided during the previous month and the GST amounts included therein.
Your prepayment voucher will redeemed to settle these monthly invoices, and once your voucher is fully redeemed all further charges will be settled by your credit card directly.
You can learn more by reviewing the ATO's ruling on vouchers and GST implications. Specifically, paragraph 49 outlines the non-supply nature of this credit.
