Missing Data in Health Monitoring Metrics
This page is deprecated!
Wormly Metrics has replaced the original Wormly Health Monitoring service and is, frankly, oh-so-much better!
Head over to Wormly Metrics to learn more. Or specific information for Metrics & Alerting.
The content below is no longer relevant, but is preserved here for legacy installations.
Why am I seeing "Data Missing" when viewing health monitoring metrics?
This notice indicates that our monitoring agent is unable to fetch health metrics from your server. Possible causes include:
- Running an older version of agent.php. On Linux platforms, ensure you are running the latest version of the agent script. You can do this by clicking on the Host -> Health Monitoring tab -> Edit Monitoring Settings.
- MySQL monitoring is not enabled. To collect the MySQL performance metrics, you need to follow the instructions at the top of agent.php to provide authentication credentials for your MySQL server.
- Incompatible operating system. If you are running our Linux agent on a BSD or other UNIX-like operating system, some metrics will not be available.
- BBWin agent misconfigured. On Windows platforms, ensure that you have not disabled any components in BBWin.cfg - you can refer to our sample configuration file.
Once any setup & configuration issues have been rectified, you will need to wait 5-10 minutes for the initial data collection to be completed. If problems persist, please contact our support desk.
